今年の6月、私たちMillennials of Tokyo (MoTKY) の共同プロデューサーは、東京・北参道にあるバーチャル・プロダクション・スタジオを運営する株式会社アストレイ(Astray)の見学会に招待されました。アストレイのスペースでは、ゲームエンジン、有機ELディスプレイ、3Dスキャン画像などの次世代ツールを使って、映画やビデオなどのコンテンツ制作が行われています。大成功を収めた今回のツアーに続いて、アストレイへの再訪問が決まりました。今回、MoTKYのコミュニティから約20人のファッション、音楽、デザインなどの分野でのクリエイターを受け入れもらいました。また、映像制作、写真撮影、ゲーム開発などの分野からの参加者も同席していました。それから、ベンチャーキャピタルやスタートアップのメンバーも今回の見学会に駆けつけてくれました。今回の見学会をアストレイが主催し、素晴らしいスペースをMoTKYのコミュニティと共有してくださったことにとても感謝しております。また、今回の見学会に参加し、同イベントを忘れられないものにしてくれたクリエーターたちにも感謝しています。私たちは、次の訪問がとても待ち遠しいです。イベントの模様はWIRED.JPの記事からご覧いただけます。

Back in June, the co-producers of Millennials of Tokyo (MoTKY) were invited to tour Astray, a virtual production studio company based in Kita-sando, Tokyo. Astray’s space uses next-generation tools such as game engines, OLED walls and 3D scanned imagery in content production—including films and videos. Following that successful tour, another visit to Atray was arranged.
This time, Astray hosted some 20 creatives from MoTKY’s community, including those in fashion, music and design. Others came from video production, photography and game development. Members from venture capital and startups also came through.
MoTKY is super grateful to Astray for hosting and sharing their amazing space with the community. We’re thankful for the creatives who made it for this test tour and made it so memorable.
