Introducing Yuko

Yukoにとって東京には全てが詰まっているという。いつも色んなところで新しいことが起きていることからポジティブなエネルギーがあり常にエキサイティング。24時間オープンの店も多く暇を持て余すことがない。Yukoは人間観察が好きで、自然と人の多いエリアに行くそうだ。モノよりヒトにインスパイアされる。渋谷、原宿、表参道、六本木にふらっと行ってカフェでコーヒーを嗜みながら人間観察をする。渋谷と原宿の中間あたりは、若者と大人が融合するスイートスポットだと話す。Yukoは原宿が好きだが、少し疲れている時には少し落ち着いた表参道で時間を過ごす。渋谷については、各々楽しんでいるところが好きだそうだ。東京はYukoにとって楽しいことエキサイティングなことを探すことにもってこいの街だ。

What is Tokyo to me? It’s the world in one city. I feel that this is a very positive energy here; there is always something new happening in Tokyo. It’s like all the excitement [[in the country]] comes together here. A lot of places open 24/7, so you’re never bored. I love people-watching, too, so I usually go wherever there are a lot of people. I get inspired by people, not things. So I go to places like Shibuya, Harajuku, Omotesando and Roppongi with no intention except to sit around cafes and just watch people. Right between Shibuya and Harajuku, there is a nice mixture of young and mature people; it’s like a sweet-spot. I love Harajuku, but sometimes, when I’m tired, I get a little overwhelmed by the colors and the brightness around there, so I go to Omotesando to chill, relax. As for Shibuya, people go there to find some excitement. That’s why I like it. It’s easy to find new things or to do something fun there.
