Introducing Kana
Where do I usually hang out in Tokyo? Shibuya. I went to school in Shibuya, and when I was in junior high school, I would take the train there; it’s my playground. In high school, we would go to the games center in Shibuya and take purikura photos; it was only 400 yen. That’s kind of expensive for students, but we would spend like 4,000 yen on it. After that, we would put them into a book and share the images with friends, and write cute messages to each other, or we would attach them to the inside of pencil cases. We also went to karaoke a lot at that time. And as Shibuya is close to Harajuku and Omotesando, we often walked to those places too. As for Harajuku, I don’t really like the “kawaii” side of it. I prefer Omotesando, the area around Commune2: there are so many good restaurants around there. That’s my area. But when I want to show my foreign friends around, I take them to Asakusa.
