Introducing Alonzo

You’d be surprised how boonies Yokohama is, unless you’re in the major touring areas, places like Chinatown, which is one of the biggest Chinatowns in the world, or Sakuragi-cho, in Yokohama City. Sakuragi-cho is what I would call “the next millennials spot in Yokohama”: it has nice locations and venues and everything there is almost new. And if you walk from Sakuragi-cho Station to Landmark Tower, you can get to the spot on the top. It’s not Sky Tree, but you can definitely get a great view of the area from Landmark Tower, especially at night. And next to Landmark Tower there’s Queen’s Square mall: that’s another dope spot, especially when you go on a date. Anywhere in Sakuragi-cho is a great place to walk, stay, eat or date. As for the night life here: honestly, don’t expect any clubs. If you want to drink, there are a lot of dope izakayas in Yokohama, especially around Yokohama Station at the weekend. You can definitely have fun around there.
